Five Nights at Freddy's Logic is an episode based on the first Five Nights at Freddy's game.

Plot[]

Player is watching the cameras, with only 7% power left. He locates Foxy, Chica and Bonnie, but he cannot see Freddy anywhere. Suddenly, the power reaches 0% and the lights fail, making Player extremely nervous. He sees Freddy's eyes light up in the darkness, and Player screams as the animatronic lunges towards him before the screen goes to static.

5 nights earlier, Player is auditioning for a job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. Captain, the owner, decides to hire Player before thanking him. He explains that it's really hard to hire someone, especially as the wages ($4 per hour) are far below minimum. Player then considers refusing the job, but Captain immediately starts to give him a tour of the Pizzeria. He shows him the Pirate's Cove where Foxy performs, the main room where everyone eats and Freddy, Chica and Bonnie sing and perform, and the security office. He explains that Player will be the night guard - he has to watch the security cameras and check nothing crazy is happening, and that his shift will last from midnight to 6 AM. He gives Player a uniform and says that Veteran, the old night guard, will call him when his shift starts and explain some things.

Midnight, Night 1[]

Player checks what the cameras can see. One covers Pirate's Cove, one covers the main room and the rest are the different rooms and corridors. He then turns on the air conditioning before Veteran calls him. He begins by reading an introductory note from the company, which freaks Player out as it makes it seem like death rate in the Pizzeria is very high and if he does die it's highly unlikely that his death will be accounted for. Player asks for the basics, and Veteran explains: every night, the animatronics are left in free-roam mode during closing time as their servos gum up if they are powered off for too long. However, because it is after-hours, they will think that Player is an exoskeleton with no costume on. This is against the rules at the Pizzeria, so if the animatronics reach Player they will forcibly try to stuff him into a costume. However, if this happens then Player would be killed as there is not enough room for a human to survive inside a costume - it is filled with machinery, crossbeams, wires and other structural pieces, especially around the facial area. The only parts of Player that would be found are his eyes and teeth, which would pop out of the mask.

Player freaks and is about to leave and resign when Veteran warns him not to go. The office is the safest place in the Pizzeria, as if Player sees an animatronic coming he can lock one of the two doors on either side to keep them out. Player immediately closes both, but Veteran warns Player that there is limited power in the building, and keeping them closed, checking the cameras or turning the lights on drains it faster. If power runs out, the lights short out, the doors cannot be locked and it becomes a nightmare to survive. Player is confused by this, but Veteran says that having unlimited power all night every night would be really bad for the environment. Noting power is down to 82%, Player unlocks the doors.

Veteran then assures Player that Night 1 is easy and that once the clock hits 6 AM he is safe, before hanging up. Player checks the time and finds that it's 2 AM already, surprising him, and begins checking the cameras. However, suddenly the visuals are disabled for a bit. Player gets them back up and checks the rooms, and finds that Bonnie has moved from his post. He eventually finds him, which startles him and makes him call Bonnie a devil bunny, before hearing a clattering noise in the distance. This distracts him enough to allow Bonnie to make his move. He reaches the hallway before Player sees him, yells in fright and locks the left door.

Midnight, Night 2[]

Player grumbles that he cannot believe he is back ,and considers leaving, but decides not to as he really needs the money. Veteran calls Player and is surprised that he beat Night 1, which makes Player unhappy with his shock. He says that he won't be calling as long as the animatronics get more active towards the late game, and that Player should probably check the cameras while he talks to ensure nobody moves. He gives Player some hints:

  • Freddy is not active very often, only starting on Night 3, but becomes much more active if the lights are off.
  • Check the door lights often. There are two blind spots in the cameras, which are directly outside the office doors. If you can't see an animatronic, check the doorlights quickly as you may only have a few seconds to react.
  • Foxy is unique in that he is more active if not watched on the cameras for long periods of time.

Player has questions, but Veteran hangs up before he can continue. He checks Pirate's Cove, and Foxy hasn't moved, but Bonnie and Chica have. He sees Chica near some of the tables, and eventually finds Bonnie directly in front of one of the cameras with creepy eyes, jump-scaring him. Noting that it is 4 AM, Player locks the left door as he should have enough power to keep it closed until 6 AM. He then checks on Foxy, who has moved. We then hear Foxy sprinting up to the door, scaring Player, and we see that he only has 12% power left...

Midnight, Night 5[]

An extremely tired Player has made it to the 5th and final Night. He promises himself that if he survives he will quit his job. He calls Veteran, only to find that he is dead. He checks Pirate's Cove and sees that Foxy has not moved, to his relief, but Freddy, Chica and Bonnie are all gone. He checks the door lights and sees Bonnie outside the door, and immediately screams and locks it. He looks around some more and sees something new: a poster of Golden Freddy on the wall. He turns around and sees the animatronic himself standing over him, and shrieks in horror. A few seconds later, he vanishes into the dark without touching Player.

He quickly turns to the cameras, with only 7% power left. He locates Foxy, Chica and Bonnie, but not Freddy. Suddenly, the power reaches 0% and the lights fail, making Player extremely nervous. He sees Freddy's eyes light up in the darkness, and Player screams as the animatronic lunges towards him. Freddy jump-scares the viewers before the screen goes to static and the episode ends.

Descriptions[]

Player gets a job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, but it's a little more stressful than he was expecting. Can he last five nights against the horrible animatronics Chica, Foxy, Bonnie and Freddy? Or will he be able to use the cameras and door lights to avoid all danger? Watch the whole FNAF animation to find out!

Characters[]

  • Player (Night Guard, Killed by Freddy on Night 5)
  • Veteran (Phone Guy, Presumably Killed on Night 4)

Cast[]

Trivia[]

  • In the original Five Nights at Freddy's, Phone Guy is killed during Night 4's phone call. So as Veteran isn't present Night 5 and the call for that night plays, it is presumed Veteran was killed in the same way as Phone Guy.
  • Player wanting to leave is a reference to the fact that the Five Nights at Freddy's community always questions why the protagonists in the first 3 FNaF games never leave, despite the fact that they are in danger.
  • Captain tells Player that his pay will be about $4 an hour. While this seems to be gross underpay at first glance, in 1993 when the game is strongly implied to take place, the minimum wage was $4.25/hr. (The present-day federal minimum wage is $7.25, and has not been updated since 2009.) That is still underpayment, though, and it's likely that Freddy Fazbear's would have been investigated for violating labor laws.
  • During the episode, Player and Veteran communicate via video conference (in the actual game, the player is lectured to via telephone answering machine.) This accidentally creates an anachronism error. It is strongly implied that the first Five Nights at Freddy's game takes place in the mid-1990s. However, it was not until the late 2000s that video conferencing with the technological capabilities shown in the episode became available to a general public. Furthermore, Veteran has an Among Us poster in his bedroom; the game was not created until 2018.
  • This is the only series to use the abbreviation of the game it portrays in the actual title.
  • This is the first Logic to be based on a horror game.
