— The Gentleman slapping Mr. Cheese
|
TheGentleman is one of main characters in Among Us Logic. He usually wears a black suit and two top hats. He speaks in a stereotypical upper-class British accent. He is known for formally introducing new players to the rest of the players. His real name is later revealed as Ebenezer.
Biography[]
The Gentleman first appeared in episode 1, where Player was convinced that he was the impostor (he was not). Over the course of the series, more of his backstory was revealed: he had an emotionally neglectful childhood which led to his present-day stuffy personality, and he met Mr. Cheese while at Crewmate college. Mr. Cheese was his "work associate" for the first two episodes. During episodes 3 through 5, he dumped Mr. Cheese for Mr. Egg. The two later got back together from episode 6 onwards.
Personality[]
The Gentleman is a very formal person, but can also be stern. He often loses his temper near the start of the series when Mr. Cheese says his own name, but quickly calms down when others notice, especially Mr. Cheese. He also tends to be, like the other players in the lobby, rather scatterbrained and prone to ridiculous jumps in logic.
Relationships[]
Player- The Gentleman was the first one to welcome Player on his first game in Among Us and the one that introduced him to the other players. They have a big rivalry against each other in later episodes.
Mr. Cheese- They are "work associates," although The Gentleman initially found him annoying. He would yell at and smack Mr. Cheese for interrupting him and saying his name. After Mr. Cheese's return in Among Us Logic 5, they reunited as associates. Now, The Gentleman treats Mr. Cheese much more kindly, even if they continue to bicker from time to time. Among Us Logic 8 implied that they live together. Various context clues strongly imply that the two are a romantic couple. Also during Among Us Logic: Daycare, The Gentleman went out to dinner with Mother to make Mr. Cheese jealous after The Gentleman told him to grow up.
Despite this, it was revealed in Gametoons Gaming that Mr.cheese and Gentleman have feelings for each other and are dating, by them calling each other nicknames back.
Mr. Egg- The Gentleman replaced Mr. Cheese with him for a brief time. Although the two no longer work together, it is hinted that The Gentleman might miss his partnership. Mr. Cheese hates him.
Mother - It is implied that The Gentleman might have a crush on her, as the two briefly flirted in the Among Us Logic 6. Since he was already in a relationship with Mr. Cheese, however, this didn't really go anywhere. He also took Mother out to get pizza after he told Mr. Cheese to grow up after The Gentlemen killed him.
Noob - The Gentleman got irrationally hateful towards her when he thought that she was the impostor who killed Mr. Cheese in episode 16. He even called her a "she-devilā.
Veteran - Formerly, he and Veteran were on good terms. However, in Among Us Logic: Airship Arrival, Veteran makes him heavily hateful, offending The Gentleman and making him self-conscious about himself and his looks. He tries to stab Veteran and when he gets voted out, he swears revenge against him.
