Veteran is a main character in several animated series by GameToons, in most of which he is friends with Player. He made his first appearance in Fall Guys Logic, and later also appeared in Among Us Logic and Minecraft Logic (as Veterham). He usually wears a yellow costume, and has a deep, gravelly voice. His preferred hat in Among Us is a crown. He also appears in Friday Night Funkin' Logic as the counterpart Veto and as the deuteragonist in Squid Game Logic.

Biography[]

According to Veteran, he studied online at DeVry University and finished 12th in his class.

Veteran perfected his gaming skills in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. He met Player through the game, and later switched over to play Among Us with him, where they became best friends. He has made appearances in most of GameToons' animations as a major character, often appearing as a counterpart character which reminded Player of Veteran.

Personality[]

His name notwithstanding, Veteran was very skilled at Fall Guys, and as a result was very cocky and pretty rude. In contrast Veteran is fairly unskilled at Among Us, or at least he was in earlier episodes. He is not stupid, but he is somewhat naïve and gets distracted easily. For example, he correctly deduced that Player was an impostor in episode 8 based on context clues, but he also fell for the Gentleman's smooth talk in episode 3 and accidentally ratted out Player as the impostor in episode 4. He is fairly competent as an impostor, but his lack of skill at Among Us and naivety make him a liability when he is a crewmate.

Because he considers Player his best friend, he tends to trust him more than anyone else -- whether that turns out well for him or not. His loyalty to Player does have its limits, as shown in episode 4 when he sides with Greaser over Player. However, this may have just been because he wanted to look cool. He was utterly crushed when Player snubbed him in the next episode. He is shown to be more serious when he plays Fall Guys, and less serious when he plays another game like Among Us and Slither.io.

Veteran can be immature at times. He visits a children's therapist for his short-term memory loss issues ("the forgetsies" as he calls them) and is excited to get a toy at each session. He lives with his mother and spends most of his day gaming, as Player's comment in Among Us Logic: Daycare suggests.

Relationships[]

Player - The two (and their counterparts) are usually best friends and are fond of each other. They stay together or help each other during a round unless one of them are have an opposing role to the other.

Greaser - He is a fan of Greaser. In Among Us Logic 4, he attempted to impress Greaser and was heartbroken when Player killed him.

Engineer - Veteran plays frisbee golf with him and Gnome on the weekends.

Gnome - Veteran plays frisbee golf with her and Engineer on the weekends. According to her, Veteran is "like a brother" to her and Engineer.

Captain - The two fight over who should get to be Player's best friend. The rivalry is mostly one-sided, though, with Captain despising Veteran while Veteran remains indifferent to him.
Mother - In Among Us Logic 5, her son Franklin killed him. In Among Us Logic 10, Veteran said, “Those mini crewmates freak me out!”
Noob - Veteran holds resentment towards Noob after losing to her in Fall Guys Logic 2. He later got his revenge against her in Among Us Logic 16. He is also shown to be more antagonistic (and possibly menacing) to her in Squid Game Logic.
- Nearly knocked her over the edge out of spite.
- Advised Player not to save her afterwards, calling her competition.
- Advised Player to rat het out despite her potential.

Trivia[]

Veteran is named Veteran due to his experience and skill at Fall Guys and his "deep, gruff voice." Ironically, he is arguably not as great in Among Us, and was one of the later series regulars to make his debut.
Mini crewmates creep him out. Despite this, several AUL thumbnails show him (or at least, a yellow crewmate who looks like him) accompanied by mini crewmates. He also says that being a baby is awesome in Among Us Logic: Daycare
He is called Veterano in the Spanish dub.
He is horrible at singing.
"How Do I Always Lose?" implies he can play the electronic keyboard.
Yellow is his favorite color, as he said in episode 9. Ironically, in the Fall Guys Logic series, he was very vocal about his hatred for the Yellow Team.
In Fall Guys Logic, the face on the front of his bullet costume emotes with him.

Veteran and Player are voiced by the same actor, K. William Scott.
His crown is from a beauty pageant.
If Squid Game Logic contains canon details about characters, Veteran's Zodiac Sign is Cancer. Thus, we can infer that his birthday is somewhere between June 21st and July 22nd.
